Once again we return with our traditional Oxford summer boat party, now in its 5th year. It all kicks off on Saturday 16th August, tickets are on sale NOW from wegottickets so make sure you grab yours asap! This year features Count Skylarkin’ with Indecision, Grande and Unia plus extra special guests that we will announce closer to the date.

2008’s Boat Party features…

Count Skylarkin & Indecision :: Funk, Soul, Hip Hop, Reggae, Latin, Ska…

Skylarkin’ Soundsystem and The Dugout founders combine forces for what promises to be a truly unique set. Individually they have a reputation for playing tunes that make any party go off, to quote The Count; “Last time we DJ’d together, it was that good I nearly wee’d myself!”.

Grande :: Hip Hop…

Blunted stalwart and resident ‘Grande Salchichas Estilios’ is on hand. Expect bomb after bomb of classic and slept on Hip Hop. Consistently dope!

Unia :: Hip Hop, Funk, Soul, Breaks, Folk…

Blunted’s longest running resident always has a treat or two in store. His Boat Party sets are fast becoming the stuff of legends. Expect to hear an eclectic mix of Breaks, Funk, Soul, Hip Hop and Folk (and that’s just scratching the surface).

Hosting duties will be dealt with by Marxman of the Ill Technicians

Extra special guests will be announced closer to the day, make sure you keep checking our website for updates!

• Snacks: A free selection of homemade sandwiches and finger foods, plus Unia’s ’special surprise cake’ will be available to keep the munchies at bay.
• Giveaways: As with boat parties of the past everyone gets a ‘goodie bag’ plus there will be giveaways during the trip.
• Drinks: There is a fully-licensed bar onboard the boat provided by Salters Steamers. Any alcohol taken on board will be confiscated.

There will be a limited number of tickets on the door but these will be at a higher price. Print your tickets out (or write down all the details), bring them with you on the day and exchange for a pass.
